One of the most important aspects of Earthseed Black Arts is to gather us all together. To meet one another, to connect with eachother, to be together without the need to explain why we may have no words, to share ideas, projects, dreams, fears, and to support eachother in this all too fragile world. As Black artists, activists, educators, students and beings, we must counter the separation and isolation that is the hallmark of anti-black racisim. We seek to find community and unify in every way we can. As a foundational part of Earthseed Alliance we will host a weekly zoom gathering space. A BLACK ONLY SAFE SPACE, Where we can come together, to Just. Be. Together. To build community, support, and focus. Open each week as a touchstone and landing place, as we each navigate this all too fragile world.
